Boho Hairband

In Rajasthan, nothing embroidered gets thrown away. A worn-out wedding skirt becomes a quilt, the quilt becomes a bag, and the leftover strips get stitched onto something else. The Boho Hairband comes from that habit.

Each one is pieced from Rajasthani patchwork. You’ll find coiled thread worked into tight orange suns, tiny mirrors and flowers in pink and green, and lines of zari running between them. The panels are cut and joined by hand, so every band carries a different stretch of the cloth’s history.

Wear it to hold your hair back, or to keep people looking somewhere other than your hair.
